Help us promote organ donation awareness this April
We are looking for information booth volunteers
At any given time there are more than 120,000 people waiting to receive an organ for transplant, including 1,800 children. To help these patients thousands of people and organizations across the country work together during the month of April, also known as Donate Life Month, to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation.
To support Donate Life Month the Pediatric Transplant Center hosts an information booth in the lobby of Boston Children’s. Staffed by Pediatric Transplant Center employees, transplant recipients and their families and hospital volunteers the booth provides educational brochures, free giveaways and signs people up to become an organ donor. We are currently looking for volunteers to help run the booth, April 7 through 11, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you would like to serve as a volunteer please contact our office at 1-877-TX4-PEDS (877-894-7337).
